The CKK KYDEX® Metal Taco Press design is similar to a manual book press. It was engineered for the purpose of making 1-piece, taco-style KYDEX® holsters and sheaths. The forming pressure is applied through the use of the two metal wing plates that are fixed in place by a standard 12 inch trigger clamp or other clamping devices (optional - not included).
This model is simple in design, yet well-constructed. It is made from high-quality materials, such as quarter inch plate steel. The Metal Taco Press is powder coated in black to create a durable and scratch resistant outer surface.
The CKK KYDEX® Metal Taco Press has a small footprint and can easily be broken down and reassembled for storage purposes. The metal wing plates are 6 x 12 inches each and fit a standard 12 inch trigger clamp when fully open. The base model press comes with 3/4 inch standard grade neoprene foam attached to each wing. Foam reversal and replacement is an easy task to perform with this design. This model also comes with (1) 12 x 12 inch piece of Mega Form center foam.
