This material is KYDEX® Grade V103 sheet material. Grade V103 is a reground, recycled composite thermoform plastic sheet material that is made from the excess and overages of standard KYDEX® material runs. It is only available in black color. While it is not the same quality grade material as KYDEX® T, and we do not recommend it for production holsters, it does have many uses. It is excellent as practice grade material and can be used in many instances. It is a cost effective alternative to KYDEX T, and is made for us by the same good guys we love at KYDEX®. We offer it as an option for anyone who finds it useful.
This version is cell/smooth finish .060 thickness, 1ft x 2ft KYDEX® V103 thermoform sheet. It is recycled sheeting in black color. It thermoforms in the same temperature range as regular KYDEX® T sheet, within the 300 - 375 degrees Fahrenheit range.
