The R2S Rapid Retention System is a fully integrated retention system designed by MatchPoint USA. At the center of this retention system is the base. This base version is the Locking Base. It adds a level-2 rention to any item and has unmatched speed when drawing your equipment. The locking base also features three different spring strengths to allow the user to choose their desired release rentention. The mounting holes are #8-32 which is compatible with all MatchPoint USA attachments. The locking base is only compatible with a R2S Cleat (sold separately).
How it Works:
When you press down on the R2S release handle, it retracts the R2S Latch against your desired tension spring, unlocking the R2S Cleat, which is attached to whatever item(s) you are carrying.
