Maverick metal polishing compounds are used with airway buffing wheels to increase the effectiveness of the wheel while being used during the cutting, buffing, and polishing process. Some are courser and are used to remove scratches. Others are finer, which are used to shine and finish your work. These buffing compounds are used by coating the edges of your buffing wheel. Note: Rake previous compound from wheel edge before using different compound.
The Purple Rouge Bar is used for a final mirror finish. You can use this bar after the black bar or the green bar if you want to do it in 3 polishing stages. This is Maverick’s finest finishing bar. This bar weighs about 3 LBs and is 10 inches in length.
